There is no vaccination requested, although the one against yellow fever and antimalaric treatment are adviceable if visiting the amazon area. |

The official Ecuadorian currency is the Sucre although the US dollar tends to replace it for daily transcactions. However, the official rates of exchange are: 1 USD = 25,000 ECS; 1 EUR = 32,500 ECS. Major credit cards are widely accepted. |

Mainly two Seasons: the dry one June/October, the humid one for the rest of the year with rather heavy rain in the months of April and May. |

To be evaluated, based on the Seasons, but in general are adviced comfortable, casual clothes with something warm for the mountain areas; during the cruises is accepted informal attire. |
