QUITO

Erected on the site of an ancient very important Inca city, in the heart of the Andes at an altitude of 2850 metres surrounded by imposing mountains. Blessed with a pleasant climate year round, is one of the most interesting colonial sites of latin America , its historical centre is rich in cathedrals, churches, shrines and monasteries, declared by UNESCO cultural heritage of the world, in its modern part is by contrast rich in modern skyscrapers, luxurious hotels, trendy streets with fashionable,cafes,shops and restaurants, with a very lively night life.

GALAPAGOS ISLANDS

A dream come true for the nature lover traveller…..an archipelago of 14 volcanic islands of which only five inhabited, plus a number of islets, set in the Pacific Ocean, roughly 1000 kilometers from the western shores of South America, the oldest ones date about four million years, whilst the youngest ones are still in the forming process, to the point that the whole area is considered one of the most active in the world, since 1959 the area has been declared national park with the intent of preserving the habitat of the various species of fauna that populate this unique and extraordinary site.

INGAPIRCA

It is the most important archaeological site of Ecuador for its ruins of the Inca age, but carelessness during the centuries has permitted the pillage of some of its stones that have been used in the building of some of the colonial palaces, maintain nevertheless great interest and charm.

CUENCA

Powerful and important city of the Inca era, legendary were its richly decorated palaces and its imposing gold covered temples, unfortunately now a days very little if nothing at all is left of the past splendour, interesting are anyway some well preserved vestiges of the colonial era, the city is the third most important of the country, with modern buildings, trendy bars and restaurants and three important universities.

GUAYAQUIL

The impetus given by the activities related to its sea port have transformed it in recent years in the most important commercial center of Ecuador. Now a day, is the largest and most populated city of the country, important is its modernization project aimed at attracting always more tourists, the river banks have been transformed and enriched with restaurants, gardens, museums and shopping centers, the beautiful historic district of Las Penas has been completely restored, with the creation of parks, museums and galleries.
