CLIMATE

Seasons are opposite to those of our hemisphere. Australia's general climate is a continental, warm and dry one. It’s very rainy only on northern and eastern coasts, during Summer, i.e. December. In the central dry zone, the widest of the continent, temperatures are quite high, with little rain and remarkable difference between day and night. In Tasmaniaand the south-east climate is mild, with oceanic characteristics: hot summers and chilly winters. In the south and south-west, climate is typically Mediterranean, with warm dry summers and mild winters. |
CLOTHING

Of course, clothing depends on the zone you are going to visit and its particular climate situation. It’s advisable anyway to bring practical clothes and sensible shoes, a sweater and a raincoat. |
